Proof if needed... That the mods can't even abide by their own rules. That if the others won't support them, they're just going to do what they want anyway.

And there is no 'proof' that someone let me use their Pasoti account, because nobody did! It is as simple as that! If I had used someone elses username, they would have known it was me from the IP addresses - somehow Lannie conveniantly forgets that.

I have used three names on Pasoti. Rickler, Green Soldier and Greenium. I doubt Green Soldier made five posts and Greenium was used to trap Ponty who fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

I have never ever had a multi.

I have more integrity in my turds than most Pasoti mods have in their conscience.

So deep in the middle of the UK night when I knew he was lurking, I posted something slightly controversial under the name Greenium. It was my first post using that account

In less than a minute, he ran my IP address, banned me, and then posted how he knew it was me!!!

I had only created the account in the first place because Newell was locking out non-users from viewing Pasoti when it got busy, as he believed (although his own techies told him different) that Pasoti would run better if he did so.

I noticed being 'too busy' is not a problem Pasoti has these days.

So you had your Rickler account and posted under a new name to trap a Mod on pasoti. Is that right? This is all very confusing.

This above described incident happened years after I was banned from Pasoti - by Newell for no reason at all (not the mod room incident).

I believe it happened in the latter days of the old AT site.

I remember your pasoti name Hairy and that thread with Gus and Ive, it was just after I was banned the first time around!

I never found out why I was banned that time but I wasn't all that bothered anyway, it was probably something to do with that debate at that time.

It's funny how people can so easily dismiss another opinion without really thinking what that opinion was about and simply because that opinion didn't align with their opinion. I am very anti intolerant behavior although I recognise that we all have traits of it, where I differ to most is how I believe it should be confronted and that alone has allowed some people to tar me with the very thing that I oppose.

When you look at it and getting back on topic, isn't it intolerant behavior that has created much of the ill feeling and the current mess that we as fans of varying levels, find ourselves dealing with?

I'll also add that I'm aware of who the mods were at that time that handed me the ban, to not forget about it and move on would surely mean I am behaving intolerantly. Hence, I have gained a few more friends and that can't be a bad thing.

I've posted far too much today. I'm ripping CDs and it's dull. Never rip CDs to one device is my advice. When that device dies you have 700 to rip all over again - I'm ripping FLAC too so it takes ages. As an AV snob, I have to rip them lossless but I can't tell the difference between FLAC, OGG and MP3. FLAC takes forever.
