The signings City have made don't seem too bad (maybe a little old but lots of experience at a higher level). If Oakley and cureton sign, this will also add to the side. We still have 95% of last season's side with the addition of a keeper who played a couple of seasons in league 1 with Walsall and PCH who has only performed in the BSS. TRS/ Downy/ Tisdale any thoughts on the new city signings- obviously lost a few players too?

Why are you panicking about a loss in a friendly ?

At the end of last season I didn't hold out much hope of us finishing above mid table in League 2, but with all the movement both in and out I am quietly optimistic that we will be right up there. Tisdale doesn't get flustered and sticks to his principles of passing football. This is an excellent stage for Tisdale to prove his quality and if City go back up Tisdale will go to a Championship or Premiership side I have no doubt and City fans would wish him well.

Cureton for me is too old. He was fantastic the season before last but didn't put in a good shift last season and wouldn't be my choice. Oakley I would take.

Who knows what the future will bring. I agree with Saltash Green about no need to panic by friendly losses. They should be used to get the team ready for the start of the season and provide no points just pointers. We have beaten Dorchester 4 nil and FC United 3 - 1 and will lose to Southampton tomorrow. So Argyle lost 5 nil against Yeovil, no problem...however if truro put 5 past you tonight you may have cause for concern
