The England team already looks quite defensive so I can't understand why Jagielka has been brought in for the injured Gareth Barry? I guess Jones will cover midfield and RB?

ITV I think. I was busy watching paint dry quickly in this heat.

I get the feeling that Roy likes to have a few Jack of all trades players in his teams and they will be hard to beat without doing anything spectacular. It might work this time. I don't think Spain are quite the side they have been over the last few years, Holland will choke and I reckon it's really open.

I'm having a bet on Russia because their group is very winnable with Greece, Poland and the Czechs. Qualify from the group and you're in the quarter finals. Win your group and you could get an easyish route to the semis.

Phil's a decent player, had an absoloute weston on saturday at right back. But can play in numerous positions.

I'd have scotty parker and lamps as our to CDM's. With the Young, Gerrard and the Ox just ahead of them, then Sweet Carroll 9 up top.

----------------Hart-------------
Johnson--Terry--Lescott--Cole
----------Lampard Parker------
Ox-----------Gerrard-----Young
---------------Carroll------------
