I try to bear that in mind on all occasions. It applies to some others every bit as much as it does Nool.

But that's how all planning applications are decided. Nobody has to produce drawings and other documents, nobody has to ensure the public are consulted, no statutory bodies have to be consulted, nothing has to be justified, no council officers have to spend weeks analysing it all and making recommendations, nobody has to respond to any concerns, nothing. The councillors just turn up, count how many people have got nothing else to do on a working day two weeks before xmas and make a decision based on that.
