Reality check...........lose at Pompey..........forget any other than the terminally addicted turning up.

So season ticket holders can buy one or two at half price. Non members must buy one at full price, then up to two more at half price. Am I reading that correctly?

It'll make little difference to the gate and in real terms I can see Argyle losing quite a bit of money on this. The type of people who are keen enough to buy tickets a couple weeks in advance of a game, are the types that would almost certainly be going to the game anyway - and would have paid full whack. What's more, a huge chunk of them will know a season ticket holder and won't have to buy one at full price anyway.

As is always the case with Argyle they've left it too late as well. Why not announce this last Sunday or at least Monday?

Looking on the club online tickets sales, there was not many taker on the half price deal.

Also there must be a drop in season tickets sales

I don't think we can confidently read anything into this one; if it hadn't been made in the wake of the Pompey win there'd've been some other reason given for doing it.
