On Monday the Wombles gonna get slaughtered,
The Greens on form so they really oughta,
There's only one downside,
Webbys' giving a speech,
Better lock up your wives and daughters.

best get this one going again.

Why dont you just disappear,
leave our kind alone,
fill yer boots,
take the cash,
just leave us alone.

depraved and vile, we may be,
happy in our ways,
longing for the day.

why dont you just disappear,
take your loot,
a jolly good wheeze,
the circles you keep,
just leave us alone.

No money spent, upon a team
A bunch of fellows with no esteem
Stickers here, stickers there
A complex with no thoroughfare
the world of the P to the AFC
The sound of nothing, a silence deathly

A caramel pig once sat on the throne
Sweet little piggy sat all alone
Thinking the thoughts permitted by brains
And drinking the quarts on British Rail trains

Anonymous stolen from Spoonbill generator.

WHY SO MANY DEAD
DEAD AGAINST RETURNING TO WORK
ITS AS IF 48000
IS A SUITABLE REASON TO SHIRK

Captain Tom Fooking Moore
Did a walk
WHERE WE U IN THA WOR?!!!
Pasoti or Argyle Talk?

Just you fookin wait
Til they're pretending to find it strange
When this pales into insignificance
When the planet BURNS TO A CRISP due to climate change

I fore one refuse to believe
That poetry raind here died ait
Just cos the Lord of Kingsbridge castles (not a prick)
Got a fookun life until lockdain proliferated itself upon global society due to pandemic

A poem for such times as now....by Edgar A Guest from his book of poems....'A Heap o' Livin' 1916.

None knows the day that friends must part,
None knows how near is sorrow,
If there be laughter in your heart,
Don't hold it for tomorrow,
Smile all the smiles you can today,
Grief waits for all along the way.

Today is ours for joy and mirth,
We may be sad tomorrow,
Then let us sing for all we're worth,
Nor give a thought to sorrow.
None knows what lies along the way,
Let's smile what smiles we can today.

I know the West Country is doing quite well with Covid-19.and that great.
But here in NW Kent on the edges of Greater London we are very aware that thousands have died within 20 miles of here...and we all know someone caught up in this horror... and that makes you keep to the requested rules to stay indoors and protect the NHS and therefore save lives.

Sermon over.

There once was a PM de Pfeffel ,
Whose judgement was quite fecking awful,
He lifted the lock,
Cos he didn't give a fock,
His immunity made if quite lawful.

No derbies at Christmas in the just released fixtures
Angry is angry at Muriel and her sisters
The big screen points right t'ward ol' brenties fine legacy
While the bheys in the zoo twist and turn to see anything
Pre season has started, it's still fecking June
Freathys prediction ... we'll be relegated soon
The Shoemaker did passeth his ufo course
He's after a player called Roswell said a source
So let's see where we are when the bell tolls next may
And keep this thread going on this fine poets day ...

Fill the sea with tory turds,
Fill the rivers too,
We don't need those silly rules,
Since we left EU.
