Hopefully we can push on and go on a decent run of results. Getting a win here would be a big boost.

What a capitulation this form since Xmas has been. I thought it was too much Christmas pudding but we are going into February playing worse than ever.

I'm this close to giving up on football for good.  The mega-clubs with all the money are buying their way to eternal success, and we are going to spend the rest of time playing in this dogshite division playing teams who bring 62 away fans.  I feel no connection whatsoever to PAFC, the players, or even many of my fellow fans.  I'm not even particularly disappointed with the latest defeat - it's not as if it's going to get us relegated.  It's that I'm just not really that bothered.

This would have been unthinkable a few years ago - my life revolved around Argyle's fixture list.  I never missed a home game, and I went to plenty of away games too, even when we were falling through the leagues. We were shit, but they were my shit, and it hurt when we lost. But since the mega-fans started to call the shots at Argyle, and insisted on compulsory happiness, it's all disintegrated for me.  It's not my club any more. These days, I book myself up to work on Saturdays and don't even think to check whether we're at home.  I remember a dreadful 0-0 draw at home to Newport last season (the match when the floodlights failed), and I remember willing Newport on to score in the hope that it would encourage Charlie Rose to stop fooking drumming.  It hasn't really improved since, with the odd exception (I thoroughly enjoyed being in the away end for the 3-3 at Fratton Park last season).

Rant over. I'm not a massive rugby fan, but next weekend I'm going to give the Six Nations a go. It can't be any more depressing than us losing to the Football League's worst team and the usual suspects at the top of the fooking Premier League sewing up the glory ad infinitum.

3-1. Good night Argyle.

The only consolation is knowing that KJN has a 6-7 hr drive ahead of him. It must piss him off that he's obliged to go to every away game these days. Even in the glory years he was only a half-a-dozen-away-games-a-year fan.

And I've just had a proper row with eldest daughter AND the missus. Grrrrreat! Mad

Well that's it for another season
It's just too bad to be true.
Can someone else try and make a silk purse out of a sow's ear because poor old Sheridan can't.

I think you've forgotten that #StripesAreBack and that we've been SAVED!

Just think how bad it would have been if we'd missed out on glorious afternoons like this, the 0-0 draw at home to Accrington in September 2013, this season's glorious giant-killing of Fylde, and last week's heroic - nay, historic - draw with Morecambe?

I don't do knee-jerk
I try to be positive
I support not shoot

I've had enough now. We have some good players but no sign of a team ethic and why oh why bring on defence minded subs when losing 2-1. How can we go from leagues best defence to letting in 3 against the worst team in the league. Snag is though - if JB got rid of JS (he won't though) then no guesses who would be installed as caretaker - PW - no thanks.

At least 3-2 is more palatable than 3-1 against the worse side in the league on paper.

My word Angry - getting soft now laugh

This cannot go on. I've asked numerous times this season about the role of Harbin as the motivator. He is not doing his job. Why is a man with limited footy background on the pitch with a football warming up the players. The players don't appear to give a damn about the green shirt. Rant Rant

Even though I forecast an Argyle win, i had an awful feeling about this game today. Jesus it is bad though and i'm really starting to fear for the rest of the season -Home park is not going to be an easy place to be between now and May, with people just waiting to turn on the manager and team. I don't like turning on managers and i'm far from convinced that the management level is where the blame lies but Shez has seemingly lost the support of a big section of the fanbase and that is never a good sign.I don't think he will be sacked and ironically Argyle are actually no worse off in terms of the play off positions now than at 1500hrs but it really is a tough job to see where the next win is coming from. Another very concerning aspect is that Argyle's pre Christmas water tight defence is unravelling to the extent of leaking 3 goals to the bottom of the league team. Desperate times indeed.

Imagine what it'll be like when we get mullered by 3 clear goals at excreta in a few weeks!
