Sam has matured rapidly over the past 5 or 6 years into an extremely articulate, balanced and fearless voice to be respected. He'll grow further and is no way a light-weight. That said he's yet to be seriously tested. That will come, and the true measure of the man will be there for all to see. I truly believe he is 'The Right Stuff'.

This doesn't really warrant a response TBH but as it directly follows my post I will do the dirty deed.

Like many I'm sure, I found the younger Sam's postings of a few years back quite irritating, seemingly supporting everything the club said/done. Since then, especially post administration, he has changed (matured). No longer is everything rosy. Unlike us freaks & weirdos, he wont slam everything the club does, he'll support where he sees fit and he'll equally question where he sees fit, he'll sit back and reason when unsure. What more can you really ask?

I'll go along with that Coxy. The sort of chap who is a million miles away from some other fans I could mention, and would represent all fans well. I hope no one uses his undoubted politeness and youth as a means of manipulating him. It's a muddy old club out there at the moment with a lot of positioning going on. Like it or not, the AFT and some of it's board are seen as the enemy. It's been like that since day one.
