Current we have the 4th best defence in the league with 18 goals conceded which is great naturally. However, we have the joint 2nd Worse goals scored in the league with 14.

Mid table all day long, sad that a Banton and a Bryan would have us up quite easily.

As much as I loved Bryan in his all too brief spell here and he was fantastic, I'm not sure he could quite do it by himself. He was mainly about creating chances and to be fair in the past few games we've done that, just got dodgy finishing. Someone like Banton who could literally just carve a goal or two out of thin air, then we'd be in the play-offs and I've got little doubt of that.

Banton obviously did really well for us, but his goals return of 3 in 14 appearances in all comps for MKDons suggests that it was possibly a bit of a purple patch he had here. Reid's having one at the minute. It's the inconsistency and inability to maintain that form that keeps players like those in the lower leagues.

Luke's past misdemeanors will work in Argyles favour too. If it weren't for his history, he'd be playing at a higher level foreshore. His current form won't have gone unnoticed, but I doubt very much Argyle would get bids for him, which is good news for us.

If Luke continues to impress with his performances than his "past misdemeanors" wont count for much and clubs will take the risk just look at all the other past criminals playing the game still. Not that what he did will be forgotten and rightly so but football is a buisness at the end of the day.

When's McCormicks contract up? End of the season? If the decision makers are on the ball then they'll be tying him down to a two or three year deal pretty soon. At least then any bid means he leaves for a "Plymouth Price" (that'll be about £15k)
