When you say 'out' him, I assume you mean as a closet gay? Never understood this. Why should it be such a big deal? Down the years there must have been literally hundreds, if not thousands of gay footballers. Why is it such a perceived stigma?

Perhaps this is a topic for another thread and not one dedicated to a talent like Gary Speed.
