Good news and needed after our injury list increased on Saturday.  Hope he's match fit after being released way back in April. Also we deperately need a captain figure who can drive the team on with Wotton off the pitch on Saturday that was seriously lacking.

Decent player is Trotman, or was when he was at Preston - weren't we interested in him some time ago?
I may have imagined that.

Anyhoo, can do no worse that we already have.

While i'm happy to see another defender come in i really believe a proven goalscorer is needed, Reid worries me.

Meh. Other lower league clubs don't seem too keen on him. He adds a physical option I guess.

Aye we were interested. Think we were considering paying money for him too. Ahhhhh those were heady days...

This bloke looks like a brent/argyle signing, been unemployed since april short term contract, good to see brent/argyle building for the future with top drawer signings! still he looks big and strong so he should come in handy for our relegation battle with daggers and accy.

I still think most of our signings have been better than the underwhelming Trotman this Summer. Contrary to their negative reception on here, I think McCormick, Allessandra, Boco and Reid are all decent/good signings with good League Two pedigree. They're just not Banton/Bryan standard by any stretch of the imagination.

Utter desparation. If it wasn't for us Trotman would never play league football again.

Brent seriously expects people to spend twenty one pound's of their hard earned money, to watch a team of job seekers get outclassed by fleetwood and various other small northern towns, not going to happen jimmy! less than six thousand on saturday i reckon.

Will be going on Saturday but I am no longer prioritising my work schedule to take in every home game.
Nice one James putting up the price to watch a team that has not finished higher than 21st in the last 5 seasons.

He's always looked quite a big fokker, but carthorse-like also. I think Chesterfield fans said aircraft carriers could turn quicker than old Trotters (although CB's generally don't need to be quick in lge 2). We have about 6 players who can play CB, let's sign a striker FFS!

Saw him tonight, extremely dodgy to say the least. He will cost us goals I am certain. Poor in the air, slow, sloppy footwork, hesitant.

Trottman chatting after signing. Pressman "As a central defender what else do you bring to the side"?

Trots "penalties and free kicks" Press "you mean you take them"? Trots "No concede them".
