The Nolan Committee published Seven Principles of Public Life.

These are supposed to be personally adopted and applied by all public servants and are certaainly the qualities the paying public expect from their paid employees.  We believe the spirit of these terms is clear and obvious and we invite all public servants to consider carefully where and how they apply them in their daily duties :

Selflessness
Integrity
Honesty
Openness
Accountability
Objectivity
Leadership

"Some" would do well to have a read of this....

My belief sadly, is that a fair few honest, decent people enter public life with the best of intentions but in order to get to the top jobs, they have to jump on the slippery slope of toadyism, deceit and marginalisation of others.
By the time they get where they want to be, they are consumed by self interest and have lost their moral compass.

The same thing seems to have happened with many at Home Park these days.

Yup that's how I see it but doesn't our little Home Park fiasco and corruption mirror our society at the moment!

I suppose at least we can do something about our little Argyle world and we have a chance to change things.
