I suspect there was more going on behind the scenes than a straight sacking.

I was told some time ago by a friend of Sturrock's that he was unlikely to renew his contract. His replacement was simply brought forward.

The whole situation at sarf is as moody as a bag of frogs on crack, the people involved just aren't the type that can put together the sort of deals on a new ground et al that the likes of Brent sail through.

Luggy i feel should seek a Director of Football role at a club now. Given his health issues it may be wise for him to take a backseat and mentor an up and coming manager for a while.
