Rooney vs Foster?

Foster lasted 17 games with Argyle (W4 D4 L9).

Two questions:
1) Will Rooney last longer than Foster?
2) Will Rooney have a better record after 17 games than Foster did?


I'm going
1) Yes.
2) No

Very much expect Rooney to oversee a much improved finishing position in May next year probably mid table
Looking forward to seeing who he brings in up front. Must have legions of contacts with his time in the game
I'd be more inclined to think other clubs will go out of their way to "offer" young strikers to Argyle to prove their worth under Rooney now that he's got a clean sheet and full season to come

comparing the two rooney has the most experience being a head coach at this level compared to foster who had none but foster coaching credentials dwarf that of rooneys.

Wayne will last longer than 17 games come what may unless he quits that is but imo the record wont be that much better than fosters. Unless Wayne brings in an assistant he can work with and helps him out much like Rosenior did for him at Derby and someone who can oversee overall fitness levels and S and C training too and he brings in championship standard players and not kids on loan resutls and standings in the league wont be too different. Next season is going to be tougher for sure
