I didn't realise the date until after I read it. Quite good actually. But probably best not to joke about wooden stands the day after we played Bradford City.

Remember Jimmy Armfield's gaffe? On the first match played at the rebuilt Valley Parade,he was a summariser on the radio and said "Hendrie has just set Valley Parade alight with a run down the wing".
