| Absolutely fantastic news.
Welcome back to HP Bali, you are now ours to keep !!
Well done to Hallett and the board for getting Whittaker and Mumba. Push the boat gentleman and get Azaz too.
Just thinking what Ears would have said about the two latest signings ? |

| This his better than the Whittaker deal for me this one ..I thought he was different class last year and stepping up to the championship I don’t think will be a problem …great at going forward got a goal in him as well ..one slight gripe his sometimes he gets caught up field sometimes but that can be learnt when & not to go up field ….welcome back Bali |

| Fantastic news what a coup it can never be said again that the board are more into property than investing in the team as this week has shown they will invest the money needed to land top talent. Big boost to our championship survival status bringing back Mumba given how important he was to our league one title winning side and the goals he scored. - VillageGreen wrote:

| Well feck me. Unbelievable. Christ. First Morgan then Bali.
Also the fact that these 2 lads wanted to come, they could've gone anywhere after the seasons they had.

| It would have been just plain wrong to see Morgs and Bali playing against next season. Now I'm off to watch the highlights of Exeter and Ipswich at home last season |

| Had a quick skim on the other site and found this truly magnificent piece of throbbing: This and the away shirt makes tonight just about worth battling through the pathetic constant cookie clearing, 'oops we ran into a problem', 'too many redirects' hoop jumping that is posting on PASOTI these days!! Statements of intent from Argyle with Bali and Morgs this week. On face value great signings from a playing point of view... it's just the money that makes my hoop pucker. The last time we broke our transfer record it contributed just 500k towards the 17M debts that nearly killed us. Going twice as high, and doing it twice in a week requires either blind faith or a blind eye not to ask the bleedin' obvious... "can we really afford this"? On the plus side though, at least there won't be any fan pressure to 'speculate to accumulate'... we've speculated BEFORE we've run into our glass ceiling this time! And ultimately will it accumulate success? I still feel strongly that what constitutes success to most fans doesn't include the concept of true sustainability, or of treading water in the Championship... so probably not for most people. I certainly wish these players and the the rest of the squad the upmost success. I just hope the boardroom knows what they're doing... and anyone who says "they do" is in the blind faith category. Because we won't know if it was right or not for a few years hence when we have/haven't made another appearance in the High Court. 'Twas the best of times, 'twas the scariest of times. Tried to reregister on there the other day but they won't let me,don't know why because i was never banned. Pity, because it could have been quite a discussion with that sanctimonious knob. |

| Well, Hallett with his small budget ruse certainly had me fooled. I wager we have a bigger transfer budget than massive Sheff Wed who have so far signed no-one as far as I can see. But signing players as clearly talented as Bali and Morgs is not a financial gamble. Moreover, I think Hallett knows the fans (except of course the likes of the well know Pasoti poster referred to above) expect to see a statement of real intent after full houses every week last season, Evergreen, season ticket sales this season, increased TV revenues, even greater increase in TV revenues in 24/25 (if we stay up), obvious talent coming up through the academy, and knowing that both Morgs and Bali will very probably be moved on for a significant profit eventually. |
