| The old "by mutual consent". Should be shocked at this news given he did actually eventually manage to get them up but Wednesday fans have wanted him gone from day one.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65956639 Its a shame for Moore as he is a good manager he wont be short on offers for new employment thats for sure he almost became manager here once as it was between him and ryan lowe to replace del bhey. But im not shocked by him leaving Wednesday to be honest. He got them up by the skin of their teeth via the playoffs after they did an Arsenal and blew their lead at the top and ended up in the playoffs when they should in all fairness won the league comfortably especially when they had 2 games in hand and clear of us and ipswich at the top their form dropped badly which allowed us back in the race and win the league after we blew our lead at the top first. Things like that dont go unnoticed. |

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65956639 Rather amusing to look at Owlstalk and see the anguish and gnashing of teeth at Moore's departure now after they were dishing out vitriol towards the bloke from last July until the play off second leg. |

| I hope Terriers fans appreciate him more than Wednesday fans did. Doubt Wednesday would have had quite as an atrocious start if he had stayed at Hillsborough. |

tbf if we blew their lead at the top with games in hand and scraped promotion by playoffs just i wouldnt be that keen on him. Good luck to him though he is a good manager who should do well huddersfield. |

Mark Hughes also sacked by Bradford City DM is back at Hillsborough on Saturday with Huddersfield, will probably get far better treatment than when he was manager at SW. |

| Darren Moore must be secretly delighted at the news regarding Xisco given his treatment by Chansiri after giving the Wednesday faithful such a fantastic League One campaign which culminated in an unprecedented Play Off experience, not only in the final but the miraculous turnaround against Peterborough in the semis where they were written off after the first leg at London Road. Ironically Neil Warnock is being heavily linked with the Wednesday vacancy which could be deemed as potentially a contentious choice given his Sheffield United credentials, however, I believe the Wednesday’ites would accept Colin as their new man if he was to be given the job especially with a more than distinct possibility of a certain local derby to look forward to next season. I think he would be the perfect choice for them, a firefighter who knows the Championship inside out is exactly what they need, this BS knocking about that he would take delight in taking them down is bollocks, the guy is well aware of the size and history of the club, he is also a professional with a proud reputation in the game for non failure at this level. Wednesday are a club that took 44k to Wembley and armed with one of the best old school stadiums ( post Taylor report ) this country has to offer, they deserve to be a fixture in the second tier at the very least. |

| One win in twelve for Moore tells its own story really. Bad news for us in terms of a new manager possibly getting a ‘bounce’. |

he needs a break i feel before his next job, after that gigantic balls up last season when wednesday had the title in their hands with points a head of us and ipswich and 2 games in hand and they fell badly into the playoffs which he was powerless to prevent and now this job he needs to do a Klopp and get his energy back. He is a good manager he will be back im sure. |
