Sturgeon Resigns from SNP

SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon has resigned.

Interesting development from north of the border.

There have been reports of splits among the party just of late and the court ruling from last year must have also weighed on her mind.

1) Is it the end of control for the SNP within Scotland

2) Will the party sustain that momentum that they currently have and keep hold of the keys.

Since Sturgeon has been leader of the SNP much of her work has been a total break from the United Kingdom and in the process, several domestic issues fell from the radar.

Made a massive error with the gender bill and tried her usual excuse that it's all the fault of the despicable English stopping these poor people being who they want to then shot herself in the foot when a male rapist declared himself female and tried to get banged up in a woman's prison.
Many Scots are pissed off with her Scottish independence mono vision when they have the same problems as us ie. cost of living and NHS crisis and as one radio phone in Scot said this morning "you can't just blame everything on Westminster, Brexit and Covid."

Indeed.

There were many issues that were put on the backburner in her quest for independence and with the latest current issues - which you have highlighted - ,  her leadership was starting to waver.

Word is that Labour could move more so than normal to regain ground lost to SNP over the past few years.

With her resignation Scottish independence has taken a big knock back. She says she will continue to air her views on independence, however, her voice will be a small one now.

Douglas Ross and Keir Stramer will move to fill in the void, lol.

Labour are in bed with the tories up here, I don't think it will hurt the SNP vote too much.

The Scots had their vote and like Brexit it was the "wrong" answer, lol ain't democracy a bitch? Kier Starmer is a fooking Tory.
