| Looks as if the reign of Elizabeth II is coming to a sad end in the coming days as she has been taken ill and the family have been ordered to to travel to balmoral asap as doctors are very concern. |

| Not exactly a royalist, but I have a fondness for the Queen. She's been a constant. Probably the last national constitution that hasn't fallen into disrepair, disregard or distrust.
Gaaaaaaaaaaawd bless you Ma'am. |

| i had BBC News on just now whuch i rarely watch for reasons i dont want to taint this thread with but all the presenters are now in morning wear.... so unless she has died and they are waiting to break the news or the bbc is being disrespectful to the Queen by willing her passing so they can play their tribute videos. |

'London Bridge Is Down', hasn't been implemented yet. |

| Such sad news about the Queen, I heard at lunchtime that she was very ill. The family members are now at or are heading to Balmoral.
She will be greatly missed by many should the worst happen in the hours and days to come. |

She will be greatly missed by many should the worst happen in the hours and days to come. i believe she has departed already going by the bbc dress code and the family are being given the chance to say goodbye privately which is right no matter their standing before its announced that the queen is dead, long live the king. One thing is for sure when its announced officially our game on saturday and more than likely tuesday will be postponed. |

| I went around the main tv channels, BBC 1, ITV and Channel 5 all covering what was happening. Channel 4 was showing a rerun of simpsons. BBC 2 was showing athletics. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! as with prince Philip last year i get why the BBC would blanket cover this event in history as its the State Broadcaster and the news channels i can see why they would too but there is no reason why other channels need or have to do it aswell. Same for radio. |

| All games are off.
On a personal level that’s a bit disappointing, but in the grand context of what has just happened, the magnitude of it deserves a blank weekend as a mark of respect for what will is undoubtedly ‘a moment in time’. |

It is a royal mourning rather than a national mourning and I fully understand all Prem and EFL fixtures being called off. Nothing about Tuesday as yet. |

| Just watching a bit of the HoC paying their respects to QE. The disdain on the faces of some of the SNP and Labour benches as tributes are read out tell you everything you need to know about these hateful, vile cnuts.
Drain the swamp. |
