It will be the cheap option for manager not the best available option. It's not just about results with hallett. Nancekevill must be being considered for the job.

Holloway's severance pay from QPR comes to an end at the end of May.

Maybe Hallet is waiting until then so he doesn't have to pay QPR compo or pay the remainder of his severance deal.
