What it must be like to be run as a real football club who's interests lie in what happens on the pitch, not how many millions can made to disappear, fans treated like scum, cushy jobs created for useless lodge mates, half tidy stadium left to fall into disrepair, where will it all end ?

This from a Club that fifteen years ago was £4.6 million in debt, threatened with extinction and saved by its fans (and Manchester United!). The away end is now covered and the Stagecoach/Adam Stansfield stand will be in use, albeit with restricted numbers, for the visit of Forest Green Rovers. This, from a Trust that was told by previous directors " Fans can't run football clubs".

HAHAHA! Not a hotel, ice rink, dentist or Nandos in sight! How is a spectator stand within a football stadium possibly going to function without any of those? PAFETICK!

Just for the record Exeter City FC had the lease with the Exeter City Council on the land behind the Big Bank at St James Park. They surrendered the lease which enabled the City Council as owner of St James Park sell the freehold of the land to Yelverton Properties Ltd who had obtained planning permission to build 312 student properties (100,000 ft2). That sale and the subsequent student accommodation development at the rear of the Big Bank effectively funded the new grandstand. Planning Permission was granted in May 2016.

The total cost of the ground improvements is reported to be around £3.5m which includes the new grandstand, a new 1,000 capacity away end stand (bought from Barnet FC) and new changing rooms and other ancillary accommodation. The Club Board contributed a reported £265,000 to the total cost of the project.

Me and Bob Crow still laugh about sitting next to Tisdale and Perryman at Tivvy Town(an hour before Shitty had a home game) whilst they were talking to an agent about his departure from the club .

Tottenham have nearly completed a whole 62,000 capacity stadium in the time it's taken the mankover to get this far.
