Jason Naismith has left Ross County to join Peterborough United on a three-year deal.

The former St Mirren right back was a target for Aberdeen but leaves Dingwall for an undisclosed fee to head south to the Posh, who also signed Dundee’s Mark O’Hara recently.

The English League One club say they have beaten off a host of competition to sign the highly-rated defender.

We were linked with 3 players from Scotland Naismith Holt and Ambrose who all looked half descent but all would cost a transfer fee and I did wonder if we would sign any of them. 1 down 2 to go. If we really are in the hunt for these players then it would show a bit of ambition.
