I sat through the first game and that was slightly better than this shite. I stopped watching after the first half and stuck family guy on.

I am not shocked its extra time and by the look of the stats heading towards pens. Im sure the aviva knobs will be lapping this game up if we scrap a 1-0 win or win by pens as the greatest result of modern day argyle cause we got to play Liverpool at Anfield

Post Xmas weekender on Merseyside.

Well deserved victory IMHO,Argyle got stronger as the match went on and carved out enough chances in ET to win comfortably.Some great defending from the back four throughout,like the look of Healey for Newport,would be a good addition to Argyle's squad. Goodwillie had his best game so far and created a great chance for Garita as well as the penalty.Adams MUST sort out the penalty situation and Carey should take them every time as the most technically accomplished player in the squad,anyone else can wait until he's injured or transferred.This was never going to be an easy match tonight bearing in mind that Newport were going to be just as incentivised as Argyle and it sure wasn't easy on the eye but job done when all's said and done and my first away match for many a long year coming up.

It looked a terrible game on an awful pitch, but to be fair any football that was played on the floor came from Argo, and they probably deserved the win. My live stream cut out about 5 mins into extra time so didn't see either of the pens.

I hope at least some of the 500k or whatever we get from round 3 finds its way to DA. Otherwise it won't be worth the mullering of all mullerings we're going to get at the hands of Liverpool U16s reserves.

cant help but think off this scene from rocky 3 reading all the crap from avivas. the match will pretty much end the same as this did and there will be no fightback worth a dam even if liverpool play the kids.



but at least little nool can have shit to flog on pbay due to all the merch the club will pedal out between tomorrow and the game. above all else the most important aspect of this game, the money we get from this game. i hope some at least off the estimated £600,00 goes into the transfer kitty so we can really strengthen well in January and finally secure promotion out of this shit league.
