A DEFENDER who Plymouth Argyle manager Derek Adams signed twice while at Ross County has become available after rejecting a new contract.

Right-back Gary Miller has turned down the offer of a new contract at Scottish Premiership side Patrick Thistle.

The 29-year-old, who made 24 appearances for the Thistle after leaving St Johnstone last summer, worked under Pilgrims boss Adams while playing for Ross County.

Rumours online are suggesting the Pilgrims boss could make a move for the 29-year-old to bolster his defensive options.

I have never heard of Miller, like everyone else, i am in the dark regarding him. If Adams thinks he can do a job down here, then bring him down to HP.

I can't see it. 29 and probably looking for his last contract and maximising his wages - if maximising your earning potential is the question, Brent's Argyle is almost certainly not the answer.
