Confirmed it is James Wilson a welsh defender who was last at Ipswich.  Welcome to the club hopefully you are what we need.

Alot of injuries this now has me worried have we brought yet another crook like MacLeod despite being a good player.

My Ipswich supporting mate rates him very highly. Solid, cultured defender with a good turn of pace is how he described him.

Looks a good signing, he said very clearly the style of football and the manager persuaded him to sign. Yes indeed.

The 6ft 2in Welsh defender, who reportedly had attracted interest from a number of clubs including Fleetwood Town, Gillingham and Bristol Rovers, was at Home Park with his wife and daughter today to finalise the move.

Lowe also travelled from his home in Merseyside to be present for the completion of the deal

Looks a decent signing on paper. but time will tell.

there would be more than 3 identified as Ryan is replacing the whole unit. This is one as you say but i fully expect another 3 to come in especially looking to Wilson's injury record its going to be needed despite him being a good signing.

Meaning... However many spaces in the squad we need to fill, we have three players for each 'space' already identified.  So if we need nine players, we have twenty seven we are primarily interested in.

Bit unusual for someone to win a POTY while only making 17 appearances-they must either have been sensational performances or the rest of the team were shite. Scored a couple of goals which would come in handy if he could stay fit and replicate that over a full season but his main job will be a commanding force in a hopefully shored up defence-Ipswich forums clock him as a standard league 1 centre back,which is what Argyle need in all truth.Good luck to him,hope he has a fruitful stay at HP.
