The sad new of Martin Bond

Martin Bond ( W H Bond ) RIP

A lot of people took the piss out of the Bond brothers when they first had the idea of converting a potato field into a golf course but they were far more shrewd and imaginative than their detractors as events were to prove.They've certainly left a lasting legacy in the St Mellion complex and supported other sports in different ways over the years,sad to hear of Martin's passing,i believe Herman Bond passed away some time ago.

RIP.

When nobody else would touch the club WH Bond did.

I know nothing else about them but for that I am grateful. Thanks, fella and RIP.
