So Pompey are debt free 18 months after coming out of adminstration. They owed £50 million+ and Prem Lge parachute payments were going to an ex-owner? How have they done that?

shareholders (fans) paying a minimum of £1000 each and 49% of the club is owned by outsiders

Yeah I'm aware of their fans owning over 50% but even with 15500 seaon ticket holders at say £400 only raises £8.2 mill and lets say 15000 gave £1000 = £15 mill
Total still seems way short of debt. Oh well - I've got 76p Thumbs
