Root and Anderson put on 198 for the last wicket today against India.Good for them,about time English cricket had a bit of a shot in the arm.India had a biggie for the 10th wicket as well-very unusual for it to happen twice in one match,maybe it's partly because neither team has a real top class express pace bowler or leg spinner to blast out stubborn tail enders.Probably a draw,pitch is an absolute featherbed,not good for test cricket IMHO-Trent Bridge was pretty fast and hard at one time,typically English to be gentlemanly and prepare a pitch like Calcutta for the Indians.

Good stand by those two lets hope unlike the others who have fought to get England out of the mire of late arent let down by bad captaining again.
