Purrington Contract Extended/ Thomas Signs

Purrington signs until the summer of 2016 and Nathan Thomas agrees a 1 year deal.

Happy about both of those. Purrington certainly has something about him and only 18 years old. I have high hopes for Nathan Thomas.

Changed the game against Pompey. Very exciting if he can maintain that form.

Good news, both decent young players. Has Reid signed for Brizzle yet?

Looks inevitable now, Good news on the other two though, You can't beat a bit of young talent.

Great news about Purrington. Means at least we can get a fee for him if someone wants him because he will almost certainly play at a higher level, I think Championship to be honest. Hopefully with us!

Thomas is a very exciting prospect, definitely reminds me of Noone. Hope we can develop him properly now into the fine player we can all see he has the potential to be. Don't think there's anyone in the league who could create the same sort of impact as him.

Purrington played well when he got his chance.....but in hindsight he might of played too many games in succession... and at his young age he might of outplayed his growth.....and naturally tapered off a little near the end of season.

A year stronger and with some experience now....so a good bet for the future.
