Like a lot of people Jock has a family life beyond this site.

Jock's style of posting was very effective at winding up the Pig

but I think Jock would agree that he has an all or nothing approach. The frustration and anger felt by many on this site at the direction of the club and the rise of the "super fan" can be self-destructive and I'm guessing that like many things in life sometimes abstinence is the best form of treatment.

Many posters have taken similar sabbaticals. Argyle, the politics and the "banter" on this site mean that arguments happen and some people think that their lives would be improved without the constant bitching and negativity.

I hope that in time Jock is able to balance his own life, his family commitments and posting on here. He's sorely missed in my opinion.

I know he won't mind me saying, I have talked to him a bit on Facebook. Due to health problems, and quite rightly so imho, Jock is taking a well earned break and putting his health, family and sanity first in his priorities, from the excitement of ATD and all the crazy stuff that goes with it.

I think Jocks health played a part in him deleting his account and I hope things have improved for him. Jock was one of the best posters on here and is sorely missed as are a few other missing posters.He made me laugh quite regular with both his sharp wit and sharp rants in equal measures so if you still read this board like i suspect you do then get your arse signed up again, you know you want to. cheers
