Tamworth want to extend loan spell of Argyle striker Nick Chadwick

TAMWORTH want to extend the loan spell of Plymouth Argyle striker Nick Chadwick into 2014.

Chadwick has scored six goals since signing for the Football Conference Premier club in October.

His loan spell ends after the home game against FC Halifax Town on January 4.

Tamworth manager Dale Belford said: “We need to talk to Plymouth and also sit down with Nick and his representatives to see what the situation is.

“But, of course, we would like to keep him beyond January 4.

“He has six goals in 10 games and is the kind of player who would get us 15-plus by the end of the season.

“With that kind of goalscoring ability, you would like to keep him around the club.

“The feedback we are getting from Nick is that he is enjoying his football with us,” continued Belford.

“But the financial side of things will also come into it and we will have to see what happens.”

Tamworth, 22nd in the Conference Premier, have an away game against Braintree on Saturday (December 28).

He always seems to be a good loan signing, but becomes utter shit once he signs a permanent deal. Let him stay.

But if Yeovil decide to re-call him..................
Putting a bid of say 50-60k into Yeovil and offering the boy a 2 year contract would not be beyond the reach of many clubs of similar stature to Argyle, but this is the speccy banker we are talking about here where free transfers and loans rule the day.
Why make an astute investment on a striker that many clubs will be champing at the bit to get hold of given his recent form?
Ive said it before and i say it again, the very last thing that the Tapeworm wants is for Argyle to be pushing for promotion out of L2, play decent football consistently ,get the public onside and your getting 9k to 10k inside HP every fortnight just like the last time when we walked this poxy division.
9k and 10k regularly for a team doing well in the bottom division.
Brent and his half baked development plans with his silly 17k capacity ground would be blown well and truly out of the water.
17K is that Wankers ambition for PAFC, makes me sick.

if there is no recall clause, they cant do anythng really. Yeovil mght try and persuade the club to terminate it on their side but ultimately a contract is a contract.

If yeovil sell reid for ten grand to some big club like chesterfield or scunthorpe, the jimmy fan club will make all sorts of excuses why we cant compete with these giants, and the only way standing will comeback to home park, is if you climb up onto the school roof or the dentists! Brent Out!

We could always ask the pasb to ask the question for us, on second thoughts it may be quicker to wait until the end of the season and see if he is still here.  Razz

I see on Pasoti the Porkstain has started a thread about Roy Gardner to deflect the attention from his bespectacled buddy.

The Irony of these cretins is astounding.

Jameson having a political jibe removed, obviously a Tory comment and too near to Brenty.  Very Happy

I have never been impressed with Chadders as a football league player ever since the Everton game and when the rather poor Bobby fell for him.
He's absolutely typical of hundreds of rack and stack youngsters who don't make the grade when they become adult. It's a different game then. But they try to live off the "I played at Goodison once", there's plenty of Plymouths out there, and I guess who can blame them for hanging on hoping they'll hit a sweet spot.
Simon whassisname down here was another recently. I have always liked Chadders as a person though, strangely articulate for an English hoof yoof. I reckon he could make it in the media world if he learns how to compete properly and kick some shins.

And there lies one of Fletchers biggest mistakes (if it was his decision)
