| Anybody know how much our Messiah is worth in the Wonga stakes? Does he outstrip McCauley? Dan was always in The Times Rich List. There's talk of John Parkin joining this week - tailor made for us in our situation. If Brent gives the Green light for proper player recruitment, this season could well still be interesting - seeing as you've only gotta finish upper mid-table (7th) to make the play-offs! I could well be off to buy a Jester hat...  |

| Doesn't answer the question of his personal worth but I think I read somewhere that his hotel group had a turnover last year of £60 million. |

He ain't going to stay on £9k a week as he drops down the leagues.And there's also the arrangement whereby the parent club pay a proportion of his wages if it's a loan deal.I wouldn't write this off in fact,unlikely but possible.Darren Purse wanted to join Argyle from Millwall,don't see any reason why a player like Parkin shouldn't want to have a spell elsewhere,even if only to get a few games. |
