I think it is time for the chaps in Whitehall to take a stand on this. There is only so long one can tolerate a Swiss man having so much power on a global entity, and the sight of the future King of England sucking up to a Trinidadian was utterly sickening. How far have we fallen? How low will we stoop? These chaps should be suckling on the sugarry teat of the Empire desperate to stage the World Cup upon our luscious green shires, not taunting our monarchs and then still awarding it to vile oligarchs in exchange for $ back-handers.

I say we send the diplomatists out to the other key nations in world football - that's Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - and form a breakaway body designed with fairness in mind and run from offices in London. We'd soon see Jean-Pierre casting envious glances our way across the English Channel, I daresay Dirk Dutch and Jens Berlin would be keen too. The spic nations would soon follow - they always do.

Which one was that ... Becks or Wills ? Laughing
I quite enjoyed the looks on their faces myself. Still, Luggy did warn us time and time again, we were puncing above our weight.... it was only a matter of time before our bribes were trumped by Putin's bribes. Guess we'll have to put in a few more shifts to get good old UK Plc up and roaring again ... we're looking a bit leggy and need some pointage fast. Laughing
