I relish the signing of new blood. Seems he is a bit prone to getting himself in a pickle according to Wikipedia. Ee's played for a variety of clubs (though not quite 57).

He had a massive goal tally when he was here before - could be our top scorer come the end of the season if he keeps that up.

I remember the good old days of Coughlan, Timar (when he wasn't sh*t) and Seip (also when he wasn't sh*t) playing at CB...

I think this may have just cemented our place in the disciplinary table. We've got good average pointage in that one.

Hopefully he can be more commanding at set pieces than what we have seen so far

Couldn't get a place in the first team of our relegation rivals Aldershot, just strikes me as a cheap signing, although he's probably not much different to purse.

Purse enjoyed his time here too much. Chadwick has deserved all the stick since his sending off at the weekend yet Purse, as a fwiend, got to go fishing or whatever when he done similar. Barely a week would go by where Purse never made a costly mistake yet always avoided any criticism from the REAL wankers.

I don't expect match-winning performances from Branston but hopefully he'll bring enough experience with him to lead and guide our younger less experienced players when on the pitch. If he can chip in with a couple of goals too, it should be enough.

Certainly experienced in this league & as good as we can expect in our predicament. Like for like replacement with, one would hope, a big wage saving.

how did i guess thew wankers at pafc.co.uk would use every pun going to announce guy's signing!!! i prefered it when they werent getting paid so unprofessional in their reporting.

He did a good job for the Gulls a couple of seasons ago and was quite popular with the fans, intimidating on the pitch, nice guy off it apparently. Can put in a rock solid performance on a good day, basically just heads everything away and can score a good goal. Against? very slow, but reads the game well befitting his vast experience.

I think he is a great signing. Exactly what we need.

I related this story before. But he did have a loan with us many moons ago. I talked to him after we'd played at Peterborough. He didn't sign because it was too far away. His words. Time change I guess.

Forbes is a 31 year old 6' tall defender, Wiki says he's with Chesterfield now and he played for Yoevil, I am pretty sure he has played against us.
