Former Bristol City chairman and Gloucestershire County Cricket Club Chief Executive has joined the club as a Non-executive Director

Finally football experience is at the club.

Looks like a welcome addition to the board. His experience with Bristol City should come in handy.

Hope he provides the board with sadly lacking expertise. Has to change the dynamics of the board either way.

He was their CEO for 10 years AoM, & they did very well over that period.

i'm sure twitter will have comments from bristol c fans by this time tomorrow. All i hope is he isnt a yes man and knows football n buisness.

A pre-cursor to being appointed Chairman maybe's. If Brent likes what he see's.

He has experience in making a world cup bid, I' d keep that quiet if I were him.

He could prove to be just what Argyle needs, I can't see anyone with a football brain putting up with what we have at hp these days

Didn't he used to be the singer in the Zombies?

Being non-exec......does that mean just part-time....and if so how often will he have his PAFC hat on.........1hr a month/ 10hrs a month or as required regarding what he gets involved with.

Part timers are killing this club, if he's just another one then really what's the point.

He's done a full tour in the military and has his fingers in all manner of other directorship pies. This is a retirement post, he ain't gonna be the man to grip Argyle by the bollox and squeeze hard until things get better.

My only hope is he's here to source the new full time CEO and new manager.
