| Plymouth own BBL Babes Cheerleaders need votes to appear at Olympics
YOUNG cheerleaders are asking city people to help vote them into the London Olympics.
The Plymouth-based BBL Babes are one of five teams bidding for a slot at the Games.
The winners will get to become the official Team GB cheerleaders and appear at sporting events including football and basketball.
But the girls – who are all aged between 18 and 22 – need to bag hundreds more online votes to pip their rivals to the post. And judge Alesha Dixon, the singer, will get the final say today – so time is running out.
