new board name

If we are looking to attract fans of other clubs then we would have to go for the "Away End" as visitors may not be aware that the Barn Park houses our visitors.

Another option could be "The Pub" as that could be a welcoming gateway for anyone to come in and talk bollocks.

I am sure someone can come up with better names then that but a guest board may well be the best way to attract new members.

I was thinking of the Away End but see what everyone thinks, I can change it later.

I think the BPE is ok. It says what it is. The main thing imo is making registration easier. We can soon sort out anyone really causing grief but a football related forum should be very spicy and not over moderated. As long as the normal rules are followed, calling someone names is perfectly ok imo.

Will this sites name revert back to 'Argyle Talk'.co.uk, when the old site is shut down?

I doubt it, I think the old site has copyright but we can make it a very close name is that's what's wanted. We also need to sort out who we want and who is prepared to do the admin and mod stuff, any volunteers?

We need to come up with a new name if that's what the majority want and we need to register it with a domain. This all also cost money although it's not a lot.

This should be discussed on the main board really so I'll shift it all about in the morning.

"The away end" seems an obvious title for visitors. also like "down the pub" for general chit chat. Names like Zoo Corner and Barn Park mean nothing to anyone unfamiliar with Home Park.

I can change things around quick enough so it's a case of whatever the majority want?

On reflection, I agree with Pepsi................... do it.......................... Away supporters, Down the Pub,In the Business Lounge nahhh forget that one.
