There was something about 10 years in the agreement to build the rink ran out.

Shyster never had any intentions to build a ice rink anyway ..it’s wernt his MO just look at all his other buisness all run into the ground then asset strip what’s left and had no intentions to build a ice rink from day one when he bought the car park in the first 24 hours with the council tax payers money of Plymouth for 400k & put it straight in his missus name …the more failure the more he earns ..absolute parasite and his still getting away it today his next victim is exeter hotel that burned down don’t know how he keeps getting away it his done Plymouth Torbay & now exeter city council how the F#%K they ain’t wised up to to him I don’t know

there is no defending other than refusing to admit they where completely wrong about his true intentions which werent to save the club and see it do well it was to get money of the land and build an empire of shit that thankfully never happend and as soon as he realised he would never be able to build it he sold up and made hsi money from the sales.

i saw a tweet yesterday which i thought was a joke but it turns out the yank fan was serious that he did a final good deed in the club taking the land back many fans pointed out to him he got paid so wasnt an act of charity or goodwill from him.

The only time he ever got close to having to actually build something was the grandstand which after a bit of twisting became an "upgrade" and when it became clear that was unavoidable we didn't see him for dust.

The more Brent’s business empire fails time after time after time, the more it emphasises how right we all were, and how despicable Newell and his Admin minions were ( and still are ) in taking Boardroom favours from Dear Jimmy, and whitewashing any dissent.

It’s been done a thousand times, but still worth reminding ourselves of the catastrophic results of Brent’s plans that thankfully failed. Dentists, Doctors, and a Concourse full of retailers under the mini-stand, whose rents would have bypassed the club and gone straight into the coffers of the fine gentleman.

All of that and much more, encouraged and enabled by Newell, just so he could look important and drive Jimmy to games. How many away games have they been to since Brent was ousted?? Fuckin zero I reckon.

Monkeywrench was the one that used to crack me up the most with his arselicking on Pasoti. The ultimate lemming. He’d follow his grandmother off a cliff if Newell was walking in front of them both.
