Wing-back Callum McFadzean has departed Home Park after one season with Ryan Lowe’s Pilgrims.

The left-sided player, 26, made 30 appearances for the Greens last season, scoring five times – including twice on debut in Argyle’s 19/20 Sky Bet League Two opening day win at Crewe Alexandra.

Having become a father for the first time during the off-season, ‘Fadz’ has made the decision to remain closer to home, and the club wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.

piss taking on another level, as ive said elsewhere on here good player but not irreplaceable.

Wouldn't be shocked if announced signing for another club in a day or two, sounds like someones been having a Dutch auction.

He fecked the club around waiting for his answer who gave him more time than they should have in truth while he talked to other clubs when he knew full well as you say he wasn't staying here. That's unforgivable in my eyes.

So Ryan's shopping list is now after signing a GK and Striker.

1 Central Defender (with pace)
2 Central Midfielders (one to fill the void left by Sarcevic and one who is a ball winner)
1 Left Wing Back

*maybe another Left Wing Back if Ryan Law isn't showing he could step up or needs another loan out before hand like with Jephcott or certainly one who could play on the right also would be a help.

** As George Cooper isnt coming back now someone who can create and play make too could also be on the cards but we shall see how the other signings go first.

We def need to sort the defence out, its not really changed much since we went down. Though whether Aimson is up to L1 standard we'll have to see

At the fans forum which I think was 27th June (yes it was just checked) Ryan Lowe spoke about him and said he had given him a further extension for a decision until end of that month
Month later he actually makes that decision. As Angry says just piss taking. Expect him signing elsewhere within 48 hours

He might be the next Durrell Berry, thinking he could leave us to get a decent move, ended up at Torquay and then into non-league obscurity.

Agree with Reg, no great loss from what I saw last season.
