I'm praying fleetwood have the comeback to end all comebacks against Wycombe as that would be another 2 big game gatewise for us on top of Swindon, Bristol R and now Pompey.

Had the misfortune to listen to the Spurs v Everton game just now, two mediocre teams playing out a shit game lacking in any quality whatever.
Conversely the reporter on radio 5 described the Wycombe v Fleetwood 2-2 draw (6 -3 aggregate) as one of the best games he has ever seen.

the words wycombe and great game sound strange to me. I hope they beat Oxford as i sure as feck don't want to watch their brand of football again.

Bit of an overstatement, that. Fleetwood were very good but Wycombe were resolute in defence.

Lesser of two evils really, this result. Ainsworth is anti-football but you can not deny the job he’s done there with a side tipped for relegation at the start of the season.

Conversely, Joey Barton is as big a Cnut as you’ll ever find.

2 clubs up there with the very worst away days in football.

Oxford as a city is great unfortunately the ground is so far away from it s centre you’re unlikely to see much of it. So public transport is shit, there are no pubs and to top it all off it’s over the road from the sewage treatment plant, so it feckin stinks.

And it’s yet another place we never seem to win at.

Wycombes ground is also miles from anywhere on an industrial park where theres only one road in and out. The town is as forgettable as it comes, too close to London to be relevant yet far enough so as to be noticeable.

The railway station has the highest retaining wall in the uk apparently.
