I seemed to have started something (unintentionally), for me the Brent/Fletcher/Feeney/Chadwick/Welsh fireman era was an absolute low point in Argo's history.
Here and now we are a million miles away from that.

Who can forget Chadders thirty yard screamer when he played against us (was it Everton FA or friendly?) never to ne repeated. A year later I was wondering it was a carefully rehearsed stunt?

Ahh yes Reg, another low point the Northern Irish guy, Rory something or other scored a large number of goals in the Irish league or whatever, thought he was another George Best but in fact as you say couldn't hit a barn door - the list goes on. lol.

Exactly and we couldnt give him away for free when the penny dropped lol. Played in a game where Bjarni Guðjónsson scored a cracker for us and that was all bobby needed to sign him i guess lol

Remember he hadn't scored in an absolute age then pulled a twatter out against Leicester to see us 1-0 up only for the game to be abandoned at half-time. So it all counted for nowt and he reverted back to type.

There's two types of striker - those that score crucial goals at crucial times in crucial games and those whose stats consist entirely of consolation goals when you're 3-0 down with five minutes remaining or the last goal in a 4-1 romp, usually in the 85th minute also.

He always felt like one of the latter, whatever the figures may say.

Disappointed with Lowe so far, improvement expected soon

Apart from Canavan, we have a team of dwarves. This might explain why we have been linked with the 6'4" non league striker (Faal?), but he could be another Nathan Blissett, and 6'1" Tyreeq Bakinson.
