Ian Holloway 7/2 interesting one, he can sell ice to an eskimo and would probably rally the fanbase, players and media again but fences would have to be mended before his name can be taken seriously given the way he left. Would also need a good backroom team as he is tactically inept.

Gary Johnson 5/1 would have been a good choice ten years ago but since then hes failed at several clubs in the football league in recent years, he should stay with torquay where he is doing well

Dare say there will be a few CVs being sent to Hallet over the coming days. At the end of the day it is up to him and the board who they pick, let us hope it will be a good one too.

We need a manager who can get the best out of players and a team, whatever division we are in next season. There will be alot of chopping and changing once the new gaffer is in place. New players and backroom staff etc.

Why isn't Bungo on the list? He's not and has never been a project manager, yet he got the crapshack job anyhow so 1st team coach should be a breeze for him.

I'd give serious consideration to John Coleman - has done a great job with Accy and plays decent football. Probably wouldn't leave them though.

Always thought that Steve Cotterill would be a natural fit down here and has had reasonable success wherever he's been.

I have to say an absolute no to Steve Evans, Tony Adams, Paul Sturrock, Colin Lee and John Gregory.

I don't think we will see Gary Johnson.

I would be very happy with any of the following,

Graham Coughlan, Darrell Clarke and Alan Curbishley,

At a push I would take Ian Holloway, Keith Hill, Darrell Clarke, Kevin Nancekivell and Pilgrim Pete.

And I know it would never happen but I would like to have someone like Jose Mourinho come in, a manager who has always been employed by clubs with lots of money to see if he has the ability to have success at a club with feck all money. As I said no chance of that.

There are quite a few other well known managers unemployed at the moment.

A big no would be Steve McClaren and Gary Rowett.

A yes from me would be David Wagner, Nigel Pearson and Owen Coyle.

At a push Mark Hughes, Billy Davies and Steve Cotterill.
