Subject: MTV Crashes 2016 vs Radio One's Big Weekend Mon Feb 01, 2016 11:03 am
Exeter have pulled off a coup by securing Radio One's 2016 Big Weekend festival for Powderham Castle which is set to be hosted a few weeks shy of Plymouth's MTV Crashes 2016 festival on the Hoe. Both events will be free to attended.
No acts have been signed up for the Plymouth gig at the moment, but so far Exeter have secured Coldplay and Ellie Goulding..
Exeter have trumped us again

MTV is in Plymouth. One Big Weekend isn't in Exeter.
The thing is people will have some idea where Exeter is.
"One Big Weekend at Kenton" doesn't have a great ring about it.

the acts for the plymouth gig were announced tonight,
they are Example (again), Tough Love, Jess Glynne and Rudimental.
other than Rudimental cant say any of the other acts would tempt me into go to that over the exeter gig.
