Top of the league, wave after wave of attacks, a big awkward bastard up front that CBs are tugging and fouling, acceleration, pace and trickery in abundance in Wylde, Tanner, Jervis and Carey, all manner of stray hands that could interfere with play...

And yet after 30 games Derek Adams still hasn't seen his team have a penalty.

Reuben usually averages 7 penalties a season, so to have none after the half way point with one of the most creative attacking sides in the league makes me very curious.

What's curious about it.

Unusual, yes. But curious makes it seem a conspiracy.

Also unusual is the amount of times the opposition have hit the woodwork.

Swings and roundabouts maybe.

I would rather the team tried to score than tried to win a penalty.
