| Anybody else noticed an inordinate amount of flies around this year, especially biting ones? I've just been bitten by something that looked like a small house fly, I smacked it when it bit me then picked it up but it seemed to be made of rubber, rolled it in my fingers and it sprang back into shape and flew off, bastard. There are the normal grey flies (horse flies) and also evil looking ones with clear wings with black and orange spots on them. I obviously taste good as all biting flies make a bee line for me, anybody else would be safe from attack with me being nearby. |

I think they've come from N Africa......they are poisonous and you will drop dead between 40 & 48 hours from now......and Argyle seem to be going to have a good season.....and sods law says you'll miss it now........ ...... .......ok I'll admit it I'm telling a little fib. |

I have seen less of the bothersome insects this year compared to last year. I have not seen any bees or wasps either. |
