Was a terrible episode.

Enjoyed tonights though.

However, the sooner Moffat leaves the better IMO. The best episode this season (Listen) was by him, but it lacked a clear ending. It's odd? The guy is clearly a talented writer but this whole expectance to feel sympathy with a character we've never met thing is abysmal. For every good Moffat episode there's a very, very poor one.

Capaldi's character allows a sense of darkness and a creepy edge that Smith could never provide. Use it. Also can't stand Clara, she's been in it for too long and the writers are making poor excuses for why she's still there. Such a dreadful companion. Hope she goes soon.

im expecting the reason why the master is now a woman to be phenomenally good as that will either kill the show and/or his time at the helm.

Surely the age demographic for Dr Who is from about 12-15 yr olds??

It's not for grown ups shorely.

The Sarah Jane Adventures on CBBC had better story lines than Dr Who the last couple of years!

My kids (all under 10) love it. I think it's average but I'm a grumpy old sod. Too much dramatic music even when nothing remotely dramatic is occurring.

If Clara has a bit of bite back after Danny got killed off then the character might be salvable a touch.

Capaldi needs someone different though, maybe a Catherine Tate type to play off. Might work.
