Why should you, a paid advisor to Johnny Mercer, keep making poor political points. The zero hours contracts have flourished under this present coalition government. Labour Plymouth City Council are doing their very best to encourage well paid jobs, that bring opportunities for progression, to this city. Why not praise those efforts rather than make snide comments that Mercer's attempt at glory?

How can such a 'staunch unionist' support a party that:
1) Have given workers more reason to strike.

2) Have tried to erase the right for the workforce to go on strike.

Exactly right.
The jumped up Union boy will use any means possible in order to further his own self promotion.
And in what other city, local rag or football club would take him seriously let alone make him club president and give him column space ?

So the Herald even now allows Webb a space to spout his own political agenda.

What a complete joke of a rag.

From the man who once accused me incorrectly (and never apologised for getting it wrong) of stalking celebrities

Stalking and cosying up to Brand says a lot about Webb then. Both hypocritical twats full of bluster and opinions but with little in the way of answers. Very surprised the Herald is allowing Webb to use it's pages as a platform for future electioneering which is clearly a route he appears keen to take.

Strange that Webb doesn't mention his local MP's party (Lib Dems) in his piece?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Horwood

Not sure why he even mentions Labour as they are quite minor in Cheltenham. Cheltenham UKIP (or someone claiming to be them on twitter) have caused a bit of a stir on twitter this week.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-gloucestershire-30302846

I would have thought Webb would have commented on more recent issues, rather than rehashing stuff said by political commentators 6 months ago. What next, a prediction on England's World Cup chances in Brazil? How Man should try to walk on the moon? The affects of pedestrianisation on Cheltenham Town Centre?

From reading thechriswebb's latest article in the Herald I take it that Johnny Mercer is facing a severe challenge from a UKIP candidate in the next election?

Are the Herald allowing the campaign managers of the other candidates weekly columns?

Brand actually stays true to his beliefs and doesnt flipflop like THE chris. Chris however writes funnier jokes than Russell and you can see them every week in the herald under the title chris webb column.
