Matey didn't know what was going on after the first left hook, ran onto it at speed, I could forgive him that one if in retaliation for something that went on unseen just before, at two minutes in it cant be that hard to spot. If not I wouldn't be surprised to see a record breaking ban.

the guy went in on Flower with a forearm across the face first so you cant blame flower for wanting payback of sorts albeit a scuffle thats natural in Rugby no matter what the code. But punching like that was over the top and the second one was totally uncalled for even if the first one had a tiny bit of merit and as i say that will be what he will get hammered for by the RFL if not the police.

That first punch was like the one's Ali specialised in,chopping right hand that felled Foreman,Liston,Lyle and the rest of them.Bleddy good punch actually.

looks to me as if the ST.Helens player was going down before he landed the punch and it was more of the spear like push that took him to the ground followed by the punch that he will never live down.

Given a 6 month ban (10 games) the other guy got a 1 game ban for the forearm strike that triggered the punches. Seems about right to me
