The NHS is something that needs to be protected and never privatised. The people who use it need to be aware that it is there for their benefit, even if it takes a while. The users of the system should also not take the piss but be able to constructively critisise if necessary.

Sorry for being a little shouty about it Smile

Expecting to harvest the first of my home-grown tomatoes in the next few days.

It's been a bit cold at night, so I've kept them indoors for now.

Please tell me you're lying about the tomatoes? Either that or you've moved to Africa or summat?  affraid  Earliest I ever pick is about mid June.

Peggy lives not far from the nuclear base in Devonport. I think that would probably explain it.

I often wondered why Peggy's tomatoes glowed at night!! tongue

It also saves on having to buy a fluorescent jacket at night, unless you stop eating the tomatoes of course.

Unless you're driving in Europe then no matter how many tomatoes you eat you still need a flourescent jacket in your car....and a spare pair of glasses, a warning triangle etc etc.

I've been driving for over 50yrs and you don't even need a spare wheel to drive in UK.....you can drive with only one eye.....so do you need a monocle ?......go on the continent and the power of the EU will stifle you into political correctness.

Forget Brent out......I say.....EU out ....now.

Anybody know how to inquire as to his health?
