Never a big fan of his but you couldn't help admire him!

After cheating death racing cars for 30 years it could all end after a skiing accident, hopefully he survives and makes a full recovery but it's not looking too good at the moment.

Seems to be alot worse than what was first reported this afternoon. To me it was only a matter of time before he caused a serious accident with his reckless driving at speed, he tempted fate too oftern with this as anyone on here follows F1 will know.

None the less he is A great winner and a true legend of Formula One and i wish him a speedy recovery.

Thing is, when you've always had the uber-adrenalin rush of driving F1 cars, it's gonna be difficult to replicate that with anything else afterwards. You'll get a buzz by being off the beaten track but unless you're 100% sure of your surroundings then skiing off-piste is extremely dangerous.

It wasn't the buzz of driving at speed that was michael's problem it was he sheer lack of regard for others saftey when took corners.

Just heard that Schumacher is out of his coma and has left hospital!

Im just guessing but I'll be surprised if he will ever be anything like the same again. I had a mate who was in a coma for seven months after a bike accident and he is a completely different person like a teenager trapped in a mans body, very sad.
